Choose from one of six bedrooms, including two twins, one residing on the ground floor, two family rooms each with four bunk beds, and an additional two family rooms, each with five bunk beds; perfect for large familial groups. Completing the property is a second-floor library/classroom, adorned with plenty of books, seating and games so the younger members of your group will never get bored! If you can tear yourself away, begin your day with a relaxing stroll along the River Severn before stopping off at WWT Slimbridge, a wetland wildlife reserve where you can experience a fabulous range of birdlife including Bewick’s swans, white-fronted geese, lapwing and curlew. In Frampton on Severn, you’ll also find your nearest shop and pub, so you can stock up on all the self-catering essentials required to rustle up a feast or enjoy some hearty grub on the days you don’t feel like cooking! Further afield, journey to the city of Gloucester, home to Robinswood Hill Country Park, National Waterways Museum, Barnwood Park and Aboretum and of course, Gloucester Cathedral. Traverse the Cotswolds AONB which resides only a short drive from the property, to find Painswick Rococo Garden, Museum in the Park and Selsey Common, boasting stunning views of the rolling hills and natural landscape. A gem in the Severn Valley, Frampton on Severn has the longest village green in England, is listed in the Domesday Book, and features Tudor and Georgian homes in addition to Cruck cottages. A very short drive away is Slimbridge Wetlands, a reserve dedicated to the care and research of ducks and geese from all over the world. The Cotswold Way is also nearby, while Cheltenham, Bath, and Gloucester, a historic waterfront city with Roman foundations, Victorian Docks, and a magnificent Norman Cathedral, are all easily accessible by road.
