Guests say

Driftcombe Farmhouse is cherished for its tranquil, rustic charm, surrounded by nature. Guests revel in the wildlife, cosy log fires, and scenic walks, despite the challenging access road. The property's homely atmosphere and picturesque setting provide a delightful escape.

There is no specific mention of cleanliness in the reviews, so it is not possible to provide a score for this category.

The location is highly praised for its tranquillity, wildlife, and walking opportunities, despite the steep, narrow access road. The natural setting is a consistent highlight among guests.

The farmhouse is described as cosy and comfortable, with an open fire adding to the ambience. However, some guests noted it as 'slightly tatty' and 'a bit shabby', indicating room for improvement.

The property is well-equipped for a family gathering, but comments about a small fridge and tepid water on one occasion suggest that some facilities may need updating or expanding.

There are no mentions of gifts or special touches that would indicate thoughtfulness from the hosts, so this category cannot be scored.

Such a lovely cosy farmhouse to spend Christmas with family. Coming back to an open fire made it all the more festive.

Absolutely beautiful - so peaceful - lane leading down to the property is very steep with hairpin bend but so worth it - really loved it
