On the first floor you can find an elegant double bedroom, and on the second-floor two more double bedrooms.
The cottage is nestled in the pretty village of Uley, a short drive from the bustling market town of Stroud in the Gloucestershire countryside. Set on the outside fringes of the Cotswolds Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, there are a number of trails for walking and cycling opportunities to get involved with such as the Laurie Lee Wildlife Way and Stroudwater Canal Walk. Close by is an art cafe, a local village shop, and a local pub serving delicious food, as well as the famous Uley Bury, a local village church, along the Cotswold walk way.
Make sure you visit the nearby town of Stroud for its award-winning farmer’s market, considered to be one of the most popular in the UK. The Stroud district is home to a range of historic houses, such as the 12th century Berkeley Castle, the Elizabethan manor house of Chavenage House, and the Grade listed Frampton Court.
There are a number of golf courses within driving distance for keen golfers, or for those just wanting a fun-filled afternoon, why not enjoy a boat trip at the Cotswold Canal Trust?

We had a great stay in the cottage. The location is perfect. The village very friendly and the local pub was busy and very welcoming. Parking was easy outside the Cottage and the host was very responsive. Highly recommend

This is a beautifully presented and very comfortable cottage in a lovely village. It was spotlessly clean and very well equipped with everything needed in the kitchen and also thoughtful touches like board games for entertainment. The food welcome pack was really appreciated (loaf of fresh bread, pint of milk, fantastic Victoria Sponge cake, teabags etc) and were delicious.The village shop was handy for fresh eggs, and we had a great meal at the local pub, The Old Crown Inn, just a couple of minutes walk away. The stairs are definitely part of the character of the cottage, and are fine if taken with care and if you don't have any mobility issues. But if you do or have young children, they would be a challenge.We really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend.

The cottage was very comfortable and ideally situated for visiting local places of interest. The stairs are very steep and probably would be a problem for people with mobility issues and young children although we managed very well with care. We had an issue with the fridge but the owner Niki dealt with this for us promptly. We found the local shop very useful and we had a lovely meal in the village pub The Old Crown.
