The kitchen is very well equipped so that catering for 10 was problem-free. The decoration and furnishings were delightful and 3 generations of our family, together with some family friends, all had a lovely long weekend. Matt was very helpful indeed - even calling from a wedding he was at to help with a query!

when booking the holiday we wanted a peaceful and relaxing location for all the family to enjoy and this house delivered exactly that. The Orangere is amazing loved that the dinner table is located there different from the photos on the site (could do to be up dated )We lit the fire and played games together. The kitchen is great just needs a few bits adding ie Oven gloves, some of the kitchen trays need replacing . Japanese bath was a massive hit! During our stay we visited bath (45 min drive ) a must-visit is Broughton - on -the water the little Venice of England and ended our day at Jeremy clacksons Diddly squat farm shop then headed home to cook pizzas on the fabulous outdoor kitchen. The weather wasn't the best but that didnt stop us from using the hot tub and sauna and the natural swimming pool very bracing in the cooler weather definitely worth paying the extra. Two others that loved the outdoor space were Freddie and Brue our spaniels they had great fun in the huge outdoor space .Thank you for a great week definitely highly recommend this property.

The house is stunning, the beds are super-comfortable, and the bathrooms are very luxurious. The gardens, paddock and orchard are glorious. The pool was great, quite bracing in the cooler weather but also very tranquil for a dip with the dragonflies. The hot tub and sauna were great. We made use of the BBQ and the pizza oven. We cheated with the pizza dough and got some from the lovely Italian restaurant in town, which we then stretched, added our toppings and cooked in the pizza oven. I think it was the nicest pizza I have ever had. We had a few excursions to Bath, rock climbing with Up & Under Adventures, Westonbirt Arboretum and Swindon Designer Outlet but honestly it was just nice to chill at the house and enjoy the grounds and pool area. I would highly recommend Tickmorend Farm for a visit.
