Lovely cottage, excellent. We have so enjoyed our visit to the Cotswolds. The weather was dry but cold for June. Thank you.

We really enjoyed our long weekend in this lovely and quiet cottage nestled in our favourite village in the Cotswolds. The cottage is beautiful and lovely, refurbished to a high standard with a successful mix of modern and traditional that retains it's character but makes it perfectly fir for 21st century living. We live in a 17th century cottage in Hampshire and are slowly refurbishing it so are only too familiar with the challenges of sympathically renovating this kind of house - The owners surely did a good job here. We particularly love the flagstones downstairs and old oak beams and landings. The cottage was spotlessly clean and very well presented with everything you need for a comfortable stay which is surely a credit to the organisation that manages it. The garden is pretty and well maintained, with a really nice border. Absolutely adore the peonies to the front - they are beautiful! We visit the Cotswolds regularly and particularly like Stanton, in our opinion is the hidden gem of this wonderful area. We will likely return for another break in this pretty cottage!
