If you are bringing a dog with you then please keep them off the soft furnishings at all times. Please keep them on a lead when outside the front of the lodge as the electric gates are in frequent use and there will be no protection from the road when they are open for your animals. There is a dog waste bin in the courtyard. Please ensure all mess is bagged and binned before departure.

Once you drive through the electric gates you are a quaint and peaceful place. Upon entering the lodge an impressive lounge/ diner and kitchen which is well laid out and extremely clean. 2 double bedrooms with en-suites. Outside the garden is private and peaceful and a relaxing soak in the hot tub rounds it of. Easy to get to all amenities and takeaways are delivered to the door. Every detail has been thought of to make your stay relaxing and quiet. Will definitely go back.

We had a wonderful time at The Retreat . Such a lovely place , we enjoyed relaxing in the house and the garden, lovely hot tub too . Would highly recommend as our experience was great . Easy to get to other places to visit and pub within walking distance . Very happy , could’ve stayed longer .

We had a fantastic stay! The property is absolutely gorgeous, immaculately clean, and the beds were so comfortable. The garden is beautiful, especially the lovely water feature and the amazing hot tub. Josh couldn't resist taking the plunge! The kitchen was very well equipped. The only thing we missed was a washing machine, but there are excellent laundrettes (Ferndown) just a few minutes drive away, so it didn't impact our stay at all.There is so much to see and do in the area that we didn't even get through half of our list before running out of time. We'll definitely be back!We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and can't wait to return!
