Bramley Lodge is frequently praised for its idyllic setting, cleanliness, and well-equipped nature, offering a peaceful retreat with beautiful views over a fishing lake. Guests appreciate the comfortable furnishings and the thoughtful touches, such as a welcome basket. While some minor maintenance issues are noted, the overall experience is highly regarded, with many guests planning return visits.
The lodge is consistently described as clean and well-maintained, with several reviews highlighting its cleanliness. A few comments suggest room for improvement, but these are relatively minor and do not detract significantly from the overall positive feedback.
The location is highly praised for its tranquillity, picturesque views, and proximity to local attractions. The presence of wildlife adds to the charm, although geese droppings are mentioned as a minor inconvenience.
Guests find the lodge comfortable, particularly noting the quality of the mattresses. There are some remarks about the size of the bed and a weak shower, but these are infrequent compared to the overall positive feedback on comfort.
The lodge is generally well-equipped, with a full kitchen and good outdoor seating. However, there are several mentions of maintenance issues such as a loose coffee table leg, problematic blinds, and a broken TV aerial connection, suggesting that some facilities require attention.
While guests mention a welcome basket contributing to a thoughtful experience, there is insufficient information to determine if such gestures are consistent across all stays. Therefore, it is politely noted that such gifts, while appreciated, are not guaranteed.

They are about 14 years old atnd need a refit! The toilet seats in both rooms were loose. Shower was very hard to turn on and off. Had to get a cloth to do it! Door handles were loose on 2 doors, 1 of the table chairs is loose, I shut my finger in the seat! Plates and glasses have chips in them, Oven is hard to use as temperatures are rubbed off. Could not get the dryer to work. Dust and dirt at low level hanging off the radiators, tv all grime above it. Poor decking and steps up to the front door all need retreating looks very scruffy! Grass is far too long when fishing feet get soaking wet!! Very low level water, needs filling up not good for Fishing you could see the mud on the bank, water is very dirty which was a shame as it is a nice spot and very quiet. There needs to be rubbish bins by the lodges not all the way up by the entrance track. We did not get any information about door code, wifi etc I had to phone the owners number. There should be an info pack on arrival etc with information on.
