This town also hosts a couple of notable historical places such as Stonehouse Manor, mentioned in William the Conqueror's Domesday Book of 1086, and Oldend Hall which dates back to the late 18th century. There are also several footpaths in the area that lead to the nearby canal should there be any keen walkers in your group, plus the national trail Cotswold Way passes very close to Stonehouse meaning there are plenty of options when it comes to stretching your legs.
