Meadow and Nest Burrow in Frome offers a tranquil, cosy, and well-equipped retreat with modern amenities. Guests praise the clean and comfortable accommodations, the private hot tub, and the thoughtful touches by the host. The property is ideal for families, couples, and pet owners seeking a peaceful getaway with the convenience of nearby attractions.

Reviews consistently mention the property being spotlessly clean, with particular praise for the cleanliness of the cottage and hot tub. This suggests a high standard of cleanliness throughout.

The location is described as tranquil and quiet, with easy access to local attractions such as Longleat and Bath. The peaceful setting and proximity to points of interest contribute to a high score.

The majority of guests find the beds comfortable and the property cosy. However, a few guests noted the mattresses were too hard, and the high beds were not to everyone's preference, slightly lowering the score.

Facilities are generally praised, including the hot tub, garden, and in-room amenities. Some guests suggested improvements such as additional seating, and there were comments about the garden's condition in wet weather, which slightly impacts the score.

Guests appreciate the thoughtful gestures, such as welcome packs, dog treats, and robes. While these gifts enhance the experience, it's important to note that such offerings may vary and are not guaranteed.

Superb place. Clean and well presented. Facilities was fantastic with all that you could need. The owners attention to detail was perfect. The hottub was perfect for evening relaxing with a glass of fizz watching the moon come out.

My partner and I first stayed at Luckington Burrows in December 2023 and we loved it! We decided to come back this year with our 1 year old and he also loved his stay! We stayed in The Nest this time, previously we stayed in The Meadow. Both borrows are super cosy, modern and spacious. The hot tub was lovely and privacy is provided by a wind breaker that can be pulled across. The location is perfect! There are so many things to do nearby. Longleat only being a 20 minute drive, Bath only being a 20 minute drive to the nearest Park and Ride and Clark’s Village just 45 minutes away. Alex has always been really helpful and contacted us just before both of our stays, providing us with helpful welcome information and a selection of things to do in Somerset. Alex seems like a genuine, down to earth guy who’s put a lot of time, thought and care into creating the Burrows. If I could give more than 5 stars I would! I highly recommend Luckington Burrows and we will definitely be coming back again.
