Drive in through the secure gated entrance into Wellesley Park and pull up outside Wellesley House, open the gate to your private lawned garden and step inside where our holiday home awaits you.
Inside, the ground floor is made up of the beautiful open plan living space. The living area, with its comfortable seating, large Smart TV (free channels are accessed only through signed in applications on the living room Smart TV) and realistic electric fireplace, it is the perfect place to cosy up and relax after a day either on the estate or exploring the local area. The extremely well-equipped kitchen/dining room has a large fridge/freezer, a range cooker with electric oven and gas hob and all you will need to create your meal at any time of day or night! The dining area has a large table and chairs, perfect for gathering around for a meal or to play games. Head up the gorgeous central oak staircase with its glass panelling on the sides to the first floor, where you will find the large family bathroom with double-ended bath, large shower and heated towel rail; the master suite with large super king-size bed, en-suite with walk in shower and heated towel rail and a walk-in wardrobe. the twin bedroom is located next to the bathroom. On the second floor you have two extremely spacious bedrooms, both with king-size beds and en-suite shower rooms.
Outside, your garden is completely enclosed and has seating area as well as lawned area to enjoy.You have full access to Wellesley Park’s fabulous leisure complex, with a fantastic indoor heated swimming pool, sauna and steam room, gym, library and outdoor tennis court (first come first served basis). The pool and gym are bookable for private use with booking slots and are included in the price of your stay. Set just 2 miles from the smallest city in the England, Wells, which can be reached on foot in just 40 minutes or 5-minute drive and has an array of shops, bars and restaurants for you to enjoy. The Mendip Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty can be reached on foot also for fabulous walks not to mention nearby choice of stables. Slightly further afield you have the ancient historic town of Glastonbury, famous for both its music festival and its tor, it has a rich history to explore and uncover. The larger cities of Bath and Bristol can be reached in under an hour by car and there are plenty of National Trust properties, cultural events and shows to visit and enjoy.

As a 3 generational family of 7 with 2 young boys we had a lovely 4 night stay over Christmas. The home was tastefully decorated and the beds very comfortable. Having ensuite facilities was very welcomed.We did find the thermostat being set at 23 deg too warm for us.The onsite leisure facilities of pool, sauna and steam room were a big hit with us & we were able to choose different times of the day to visit. The boys liking evening swimming with the coloured lights in pool.The views from the library were stunning.We enjoyed the Christmas illuminations at Bishops Palace & walking Glastonbury tor. All so close by.The complimentary selection boxes for the boys were a lovely touch also the prosecco and christmas wreath cake. A Christmas definitely to remember and we look forward to returning.

The house is very nice and has all the facilities you need, but the boiler was not working the first night, plumber called and turned up on Saturday, then it was too hot, not moaning, but i believe they are having issues. The response from the owner was a little sympathetic, but credit to him they i did get it fixed.
