Christmas Cottage in Cheddar is highly praised for its spotless condition, cosy and warm atmosphere, and excellent location. Guests appreciate the festive decorations, rooftop terrace with views, and the property's proximity to local attractions. The thoughtful touches by the host, such as welcome gifts, add to the charm of the stay.
Reviewers consistently mention the cottage being spotless and beautifully clean, indicating top marks for cleanliness.
The central location is ideal for exploring Cheddar and nearby attractions, with easy parking and peaceful surroundings. One mention of steep steps suggests a slight deduction for accessibility.
Guests describe the cottage as cosy, comfortable, and a home-from-home, suggesting a high level of comfort. A single mention of a small bedroom slightly impacts the perfect score.
The property is well-equipped and maintained, with a special note on the festive atmosphere. However, there is no specific mention of maintenance, so the score is slightly reduced.
The host's thoughtfulness is evident through welcome gifts and festive decorations, although it's politely noted that such gifts are a kind gesture and not guaranteed.

Fourth visit to this wonderful cottage (three times this year). I can’t recommend this too highly for anyone with a young family or just the young at heart! It’s perfect in every way, from the host, who is most accommodating, the year-round Christmas decorations, the position in the village, the cleanliness, the atmosphere, the wonderful rear, elevated balcony where you can see everyone ascending and descending Jacob’s Ladder, right down to the Christmas crockery and glasses, festive DVD‘s and wonderful winter themed bedrooms! Go, you won’t regret it!
