Well equipped and clean, comfortable and quiet, with lovely, green views of the trees and gardens. It served as great base from which to visit various beauty spots in Somerset Devon and Dorset! Henny, our host, was readily available for any small queries we may have had and swiftly saw to the sudden appearance of a wasp nest in the garden!! Thank you Henny for providing your very comfortable, cosy and peaceful cottage for us to enjoy our holiday.

Overall the cottage is lovely, we used the garden which was very peaceful, lovely parasol to shelter from the sun, a wonderful little summer house which again, we did use. However, the negative comments were re the downstairs shower room, it was very slippery when emerging from the shower, a grab rail really is a necessity. Also, there was not a potato masher or slotted slicer (for getting fried eggs out of the frying pan). These two things were only minor but annoying that the were not there. The only other "niggle" was that the bedroom lamps were too dim to read by, we had to keep the main lights on whilst we read. We met Henny the host twice, very nice lady who provided fresh milk which was delicious and also some complimentary home made brownies. Henny also makes her own sausage rolls and pasties, we ordered some of her pasties, they were delicious. Overall, we would recommend Ammerham Farm Cottage.
