Firs lodge is a very peaceful place quiet and tranquil. It is out in the sticks so you do need to use your car lots of beautiful countryside around wonderful pub within walking distance that provides great food .lovely owner and the fish pond is very fascinating sitting there watching them is quiet relaxing the welcome pack was very much enjoyed and the scones where delicious. Definitely recommend exceptionally clean and fully stocked with everything you could need in the kitchen

A lovely, quiet location. Very friendly owners and locals. Well equipped - thoughtful as a dog bowl and treats had been left for our dog, and local bread, scones, cream jam and butter, milk, biscuits left for us. Also kitchen towel, tea/coffee/sugar/salt/pepper/ toilet roll all available. The folder containing local places to go to was great. The fish were very relaxing at the end of the day with a g&t!

This is my second visit to The Firs Lodge and it was just as wonderful as I remember it. Spotlessly clean with everything you could want. Lovely welcome tray - delicious cream tea.Mark and Debbie are there if you need anything but not intrusive.The weather was great and meant we could benefit from the outside patio area and watch the fish in the immaculate pond.The Candlelight Inn on the doorstep is a bonus too.Being all on one level it worked well for my elderly mother.I would highly recommend this holiday property - 5*
