Inside, the barn boasts a cosy yet spacious living room, complete with a wood-burner for those cooler evenings. Patio doors lead directly to the raised terrace, flooding the living areas with natural light and allowing easy movement between indoor and outdoor spaces. The fully equipped kitchen and dining area make it easy to prepare and enjoy meals together. The master bedroom features a comfortable double bed, an en-suite shower room, and views of the surrounding countryside. Pets are welcome at Woodlands View, but due to the presence of livestock in the adjacent fields, dogs should be kept under close control when outside. There are however, plenty of dog walks nearby, indeed several public footpaths pass within a few metres of Woodlands View.

The nearby towns of Crewkerne and Beaminster offer a selection of shops, cafes, and local attractions, while the stunning Jurassic Coast is within a short drive. If you have an interest in historic properties then Forde Abbey is a mere 2 miles away or you might like to journey a little further to Barrington Court, Montacute House or Mapperton House.

We really enjoyed our stay. The cottage was very clean and had everything you could need. Location wise it was great. Wonderful views of the surrounding countryside. It was close to some other properties but you wouldn’t know. There is no noise, it was very peaceful.

We had a fantastic stay, the cottage and the location was perfect. My wife and I both loved the property and it gave us the opportunity to fully rechange our batteries. Having acces to walks immediately from the house was so good.
