Stable view is a beautifully appointed house in lovely countryside but next time I willMake sure to book Somewhere closer to local shops, services etc. The house is carefully decorated and well-equipped but it’s difficult toRelax as we were worried we might damage or stain something as everything was so white and precious. I guess that’s why it’s quite expensive. That said, we had Lovely a time there - and in Somerset in general, seeing family and old friends. In fact, we had a friend to stay for one night. I hadn’t realised the house didn’t sleep 4 people but the owners let her stay anyway, as long as we paid them £20.

We had a lovely stay for a week at Stable view. The welcome was great and we felt at home for the duration of our stay. The setting was beautiful, with friendly dogs and horses, and the local pub was great serving nice food whilst being less than 1 mile away. Stable View was well equipped and everything we needed was there. It is situated close enough to major shopping stores/centres but at the same time had the feeling of being in the countryside amongst quaint picturesque villages. I would not hesitate in returning to Stable View.
