Unwind of an evening within the master bedroom, offering you a spacious king-size double bedroom with room for a travel cot, whereas the second bedroom houses twin beds (zip link can be a king size double on request) and an additional pull out single bed, perfect for the younger guests. Enjoy a morning coffee within the cottage’s fully enclosed rear garden with a decked area and seating. The central location of the dwelling means that you are a mere stone’s throw away from the local pub and shop, perfect for picking up any holiday essentials. The area is a superb walking destination, with Ham Hill country park on your doorstep, you and your loved ones can take a leisurely stroll through woods and ridges whilst appreciating spectacular surrounding views.
For a taste of history, the nearby village of Montacute is home to the National Trust’s Montacute House, a country manor from 1601 with beautiful formal gardens, the area has some of the finest historic houses and gardens to visit. Further afield is the larger town of Glastonbury, where you will find an array of shops, pubs and restaurants to suit all ages and tastes, in addition to a wealth of attractions to keep you busy. Close by is Ham Hill, which will provide you with superb walking trails among woodland and ridges, providing impressive scenery.

Everything you will need is there, the location in a lovely village , walks ,pub, a must for seeing just what is around the area. We would definitely recommend this cottage, so clean, bedrooms great and our 10 year loved staying there, have a nice decking back yard for meals or drinks....would love to return.!! Perfect for our visit. The accommodation was spacious, well equipped and comfortable. Access to a grocery, tea shop and pub/restaurant all were within 3 minute walk. Recommend for either families or couples as there is plenty of room for 6 in the two triple rooms. Look forward to a return visit. Couldnât be more pleased. Top marks!
