Surrounded by peaceful, unspoilt countryside it nestles in the foothills of the Brendon Hills, on the eastern edge of Exmoor. The large living room has a sit-in inglenook fireplace with original bread oven and a host of oak beams. The sandy beach at Blue Anchor Bay is 9 miles. Fishing on Clatworthy Reservoir, 3 miles. Quantock Hills to the east, Minehead and Dunster a short drive. Attached to the caretaker’s cottage. Shops and pub 4 miles. Please note: There are open, steep, spiral stairs at the property and creaky floorboards in bedrooms.

Lovely venue. Spent 5 nights there with my grandchildren. Quite sad we were not there longer. Very well eqiipped house. Very comfortable. Great location to local ameneties. Thoroughly recomend it and would love to return.

We really enjoyed our peaceful stay at Oddwell cottage. The house itself is beautifully kept and full of historical charm and original features. It was very quiet and we could relax very well there. Everything we needed was provided for. The countryside and coastline provides plenty of opportunities to explore and admire the landscape. Thank you, to Louise for getting everything ready for us and providing a very welcome cake and milk on arrival.
