Wagtails is a beautifully presented, spacious cottage that is exceptionally well-equipped for dog owners, offering thoughtful extras and a relaxing hot tub. Guests praise its cleanliness, comfort, and the peaceful location with lovely walks and a delightful nearby café. The garden and facilities are ideal for both humans and dogs. While the rural lane can be narrow and the staircase may be tricky for some, the overall experience is overwhelmingly positive, with many guests eager to return.

Multiple guests highlight the cottage as spotless and very clean, even with its dog-friendly focus. No negative comments regarding cleanliness were noted.

The property is praised for its peaceful setting, proximity to walks, and a nearby café and pub. One guest noted the narrow lane and hedgerows as a minor challenge, but this did not detract significantly from the overall positive impression.

Guests consistently mention the cottage as comfortable and spacious, with well-appointed bedrooms and a relaxing atmosphere. The only minor issue raised was the paddle staircase, which may be difficult for some.

Facilities are highly praised, especially for dog owners, with extras like a dog shower, towels, toys, and a hot tub. The kitchen is well-equipped, and there are thoughtful touches throughout. Only a suggestion for an additional double bedroom and a gazebo for the hot tub were mentioned.

Guests appreciated the many thoughtful extras, such as dog treats, towels, and even a doggy first aid kit. Some mention treats and little extras, but please note these are not guaranteed for every stay.

Fantastic well put together holiday cottage. Everything you need for a dog friendly cottage. Dog bowls, dog treats, even dog toys and throws, along with towels and a doggie first aid kit and grooming brush. Dog shower outside with shampoo.Humans have very comfortable beds. Lots of little extras, for cooking. Very well equipped. Sun loungers in the shed. Well positioned seats in the garden, to catch the sun or shade.Separate fridge and freezer. Air fryer, microwave. Cafe up the road, does a great breakfast and dinner. They even do wine and beer in the afternoon. Could not fault this at all, and our 4 spaniels loved the great open plan area. They even had a seat each. The garden was a mix of grass and woodland, perfect for dogs..
