The Old Workshop in Dulverton receives high praise for its comfortable furnishings, well-equipped kitchen, and convenient location with easy access to local amenities and walks. Guests appreciate the en suite bedrooms, secure parking, and the property's cosiness. Some minor suggestions for improvement include the addition of a microwave and smaller kitchenware items.
Most guests found the cottage to be very clean and welcoming upon arrival, with only a few isolated comments about cleanliness that could be improved, such as toilet brushes and the courtyard area.
The location is highly regarded for its proximity to shops, restaurants, and beautiful countryside walks. The town of Dulverton is described as friendly and pretty, making it an excellent base for exploring.
Guests consistently mention the comfort of the beds and the cosiness of the property. The presence of en suite bathrooms for all bedrooms adds to the comfort level, although some guests noted the lounge seating could be tight for larger groups.
The property is well-equipped with high-quality kitchen equipment and amenities. However, several guests mentioned the lack of a microwave and smaller kitchen items, which suggests room for improvement in this category.
While some guests mentioned the lack of welcome gifts such as a bottle of wine or biscuits, these are not standard offerings and are not guaranteed. The property provides many thoughtful touches, but as gifts are not consistently referenced, a score cannot be accurately provided.

The property is superbly located for access to the village. A short level walk, 2 mins to shops and restaurants. Property dog friendly with a secure back garden. Property is close to road, road is quiet but the occasional traffic is loud. And a surprising amount of people walking by the windows, if your dog is sensitive to these things. Kitchen is well equipped, so no problems if you plan to cook. With plenty of places to buy local produce and a well stocked Co-op for everything else. Cafes and restaurants all dog friendly and nice if you plan to eat out. Would happily stay again and recommend to anyone.

Lovely area. A broom would be handy for daily sweeping indoors. Would definitely recommend. Location was perfect for Exmoor walking. Garden small but completely enclosed.
