What a fabulous, beautiful, relaxing cottage to stay in, with the most amazing, friendly and helpful hosts you could imagine. From the moment we booked, to the moment we left, Ali and Jeff made us feel so welcome and at ease in The Piggery. The cottage itself is of a high standard. Extremely well maintained and cleaned, and they have provided lovely toiletries which smell divine, along with very decent bedding and towels. It was a very comfortable, home-from-home stay, for a wonderful 5 days of exploring the beautiful Exmoor National Park and surrounding areas. Being on the farm had its perks too - it was lovely to see the horses coming in and out of their stables every day, and we were fortunate to be there when the farriers were there, doing their thing! And as for the dogs, what can I say?! My daughter fell in love with them all, especially the new addition too! We miss it all so much and it was very sad to leave, but we are hoping to come back very soon!

Alison gave us some suggestions for restaurants, and we enjoyed a great Sunday lunch at the Bridge Inn. Dulverton is a lovely little village and has everything you need. We were extremely lucky with the weather so Alison gave us some garden furniture so we could enjoy our morning coffee in the sunshine. We managed to get out and explore many of the stunning local walks. We especially enjoyed the hike from the Tarr steps which is just 7 or 8 km away to the start point. Thank you so much for having us and making us all feel welcome.
