Two Lower Spire Cottage, near Dulverton (Somerset) is located in the Liscombe Valley with fabulous views and only a short distance from the open moorland of Exmoor National Park. The cottage offers very comfortable holiday accommodation for up to 6 guests, and is dog and family friendly
Accommodation
On the ground floor:
Boot/utility room complete with washing machine, tumble dryer, coat hooks and a fridge and freezer.
Kitchen-diner equipped with an electric AGA cooker, underfloor heating, dishwasher, second fridge, microwave and spectacular view over the Liscombe valley. The extending dining table can easily seat 6.
Lounge complete with wood-burner (complimentary basket of logs and kindling included to get you started) and 40 inch smart TV.
Downstairs toilet with hand basin
Downstairs single bedroom (if you wish to use this bedroom, please make a note on the booking form so that the housekeeper is aware)
On the first floor:
Bedroom one has a king-sized bed and dual aspect views across the Liscombe valley
The family bathroom comprises a walk in shower, toilet and hand basin
Bedroom two also has a king sized bed, plus panoramic views to the moor
Bathroom two (is off Bedroom 2) contains toilet, hand basin basin and a bath.
The third bedroom has twin beds.
There are four bedrooms in total (two king-size beds, one twin bedroom, and one single) and this property sleeps a maximum of 6 guests.
Full central heating throughout which can be adjusted to suit your preferences and the seasons.
Bed linen and towels are included.
Free wifi.
Kitchen essentials are provided including washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets, kitchen roll, washing machine tablets, bin bags, cling film, foil, toilet rolls, hand wash.
A travel cot and highchair are available on request (no extra charge).
Well behaved dogs are welcome (up to a maximum of 2 dogs) for a supplement of £20 per dog. Please keep dogs on the ground floor in the kitchen and boot/utility room.
Strictly no smoking or vaping.

The house is extremely comfortable in a wonderful location with beautiful views and teeming with wildlife. We visited in a cold snap during January but felt totally warm and cosy. We are keen on walking and the location is perfect with the local walk to Tarr Steps and beyond. Dulverton is a lovely s.... We are keen on walking and the location is perfect with the local walk to Tarr Steps and beyond. Dulverton is a lovely small town with a great butcher’s and Mortimer’s tea room was a welcome find when we arrived from Cornwall freezing cold and needing tasty hot food mid afternoon. James is a responsive host and information/instructions are thorough. We hope to return sometime!

This is a superb property in a stunning location and for those that live in cities the lack of noise, other than birds, is staggering. Decoration and furnishings are to a very high standard with more of a home feel rather than a rental. Property is extremely well equipped with more than enough refr.... Decoration and furnishings are to a very high standard with more of a home feel rather than a rental. Property is extremely well equipped with more than enough refrigeration, washing facilities, cutlery and crockery to easily cater for our party of 6 with some to spare. Even disposables like toilet paper, rubbish bags, cleaning products etc were all present in quantity for our entire stay. Plus the additional touches of fresh scones, clotted cream and milk were greatly appreciated. Hosts went above and beyond to contact myself and ensure that we were looked after. I have no hesitation in unreservedly recommending 2 Lower Spire to potential guests and will happily rent again when next holidaying in Exmoor
