We have had a wonderful holiday at The Old Sweet Shop. A beautiful house in a fantastic location. Well-equipped and comfortable. The hot tub was enjoyed and well-used. The gardens were loved, and we particularly liked sitting in the top garden for meals. George loved the well-filled toy box. Grace loved the window seats for her quiet moments. There are lovely walks down to the beach and up to the church. From the Little Book of Walks, we chose the Bossington Circular Walk and the Dunkery Beacon trail. It was very good exploring different aspects of Exmoor. We will always remember the view of the church and the white houses from the beach. A beautiful holiday. Thank you.”

Loved our stay at the Old Sweet Shop. There were 8 of us & dog! Lovely location and the cottage itself was very comfortable and the hot tub was a real luxury. Great that we could all sit round the table for meals & not be cramped for space. Hope to return one day

We booked The Old Sweet Shop to celebrate Alyssa’s 18th birthday. Four generations of the Machen/Morley families plus Dotty the dog came together for a week of chilling out, relaxing and just enjoying the peaceful garden and hot tub. We have so enjoyed staying in a unique thatched cottage with all the modern amenities and fantastic weather in a stunning location. We would like to compliment you on all the historical information and references to a bygone era. The Old Sweet Shop lived up to all our expectations and more. Many thanks.”
