This modern cottage is located in the centre of Watchet, a charming coastal port in North Somerset. This delightful cottage is bright and cheerful and is an ideal place for a family holiday. The open plan living area is furnished in an attractive style with comfy leather sofas, laminate flooring throughout and a compact kitchen along with two bedrooms. At the rear of this cottage is a pretty, planted courtyard garden with seating, perfect for sitting and listening to the tinkle of yacht masts at the marina, which is just a couple of minutes' walk away. Watchet has much to offer the visitor including elegant shops, the marina, a beach rich in reptile fossils and ammonites, and an interesting heritage trail.

Watchet is on the West Somerset Railway line, a heritage railway with steam trains running through 20 miles of beautiful countryside and connecting Watchet with Dunster and Minehead. Dunster has a beautiful castle overlooking its narrow village streets and Minehead has colourful and vibrant tourist attractions by the sea. A stay in this lovely cottage will give you a wonderful view into the hidden secrets of the Somerset coastline.

Watchet is a little coastal village in Somerset, with interesting shops and a marina. The West Somerset Railway passes through the village towards Minehead. Wonderful walks can be enjoyed both along the coast and in the surrounding countryside. The seaside resort of Minehead is 9 miles away, home to a sandy beach and golf course.

    The village is great and interesting. However, the property would get a higher rating from us if the owners would put some elbow grease into cleaning the property properly. The fabric sofa needs a good scrub if not just a vacuum. The floors were all filthy and the downstairs floor needs a good scrub with the upstairs carpets needing a good professional cleaning. We brought our whippet and made zero mess with her. Just because people can bring dogs doesn't mean you shouldn't clean properly. We returned home and both have nasty colds. Hmmm...

    Lovely place, would nice if there was a hand rail in the shower , didn't feel safe, also the neighbour waiting to move back in, kept reminding me to move out by 10, annoying
