The Well House Apartment in Watchet receives glowing praise for its peaceful setting, stunning countryside views, and spacious, comfortable bedrooms. Guests consistently highlight the warm welcome and helpfulness of the hosts, as well as the property's cleanliness and well-equipped facilities. The location is ideal for exploring Somerset, with easy access to local walks, the heritage railway, and nearby attractions. Minor points raised include the size of the living area for larger groups and occasional confusion over property signage, but these do not detract from overwhelmingly positive experiences.

Cleanliness is frequently mentioned as exceptional, with guests describing the property as spotlessly clean, very well maintained, and one of the cleanest holiday homes they've stayed in. No significant negative comments were noted regarding cleanliness.

The location is highly praised for its tranquillity, beautiful views, and proximity to Watchet and local attractions. Guests appreciate the peaceful countryside setting and easy access to walks and the heritage railway. A few guests noted the uphill walk back from town, but this was not seen as a major drawback.

Guests consistently mention comfortable beds and a relaxing atmosphere. The spacious bedrooms are highlighted, though a few reviews note that the living and dining areas can feel a little small for larger groups. Overall, comfort is a strong point.

The property is described as very well equipped, with modern amenities, Sky TV, and thoughtful touches. Some minor suggestions include a larger freezer and improved lighting at the entrance, but these are outweighed by positive feedback on the overall facilities and maintenance.

The hosts are repeatedly described as friendly, helpful, and attentive, often going above and beyond to assist guests. Several reviews mention welcome packs or gifts such as scones and clotted cream; however, please note that such gifts are not guaranteed for every stay.

It was very clean and comfortable, especially the beds which were fabulous. It has a good range of facilities including Sky TV for nights in. The panoramic view of the adjacent countryside from the lounge is outstanding. It is a good location for country walks or a short stroll down the into Watchet town and the Stream Railway. For those less able, Watchet town and harbour is a quick hop by car which saves the climb back up the hill. Alternatively there is a bus stop at the end of the drive which connects Watchet, Minehead, Dunster and Taunton, if you want to explore the wider area. And of course a trip on the wonderful West Somerset Railway is a must. The host was very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.
