Porto Seguro, Portuguese for ‘Safe Port’, is a very fitting name for this second floor, two bedroom apartment as it is located in the idyllic fishing town of Brixham. The apartment is within a 10-minute walk from the town centre and harbour. Internally, the property is modern and stylish with an open plan living, kitchen and dining area. The property is well furnished and has Wi-Fi internet access throughout and parking for two cars.
The picturesque town of Brixham is situated in Torbay also known as the English Riviera. Brixham is a charming seaside village with quaint lanes and narrow streets perfect for exploring. Walk down to the harbour and try your hand at crabbing or take your pick of lovely restaurants serving fresh fish. Sea cruises around Torbay and Dartmouth are also a popular way to take in the nearby sights, as is taking a walk across the cliffs at Berry Head or hunting for fossils at St Mary’s Bay.

Well located and maintained by charming hosts. Comfortable certainly for two adults. Three flights of stairs to top floor accommodation. Well equipped small kitchen dining and sitting area; great Internet and TV. Beds and bedding very comfortable. Off road parking very good for the area which is also very well served by Public Transport; small supermarket and petrol station nearby

The host Brian was really welcoming and the apartment was nice with good facilities . It was an easy walk to Brixham.The major things that let it down were that there was nowhere really to sit down as both sofas were really uncomfortable and the metal frames on the bed meant you felt constricted.

Well presented and clean 2nd floor 2 bedroom apartment. Spacious shower room with nice walk in shower. Kitchen, lounge, diner was compact and cosy with facilities covering all the basics. Dish washer was very handy. Very comfortable beds. Nice and generous welcome pack with friendly and knowledgeable host. Safe off street parking. Under 10 minute flatish walk to the start of the town of Brixham and 5 more minutes to the harbour. 3 minute walk to a Sainsburys local across the road with fuel forecourt which was very handy. Good base for visiting the sites of Devon. Things to note. 2nd floor so 4 flights of wide steps. Landing half way up with seating area if needed to have a rest. Some road noise if windows open as set back from the main road but not intrusive. Velux windows that open easily if needed. A couple of seating areas outside but no real garden space.
