Brixham is a working fishing harbour located on the southern side of Torbay, the area known as The English Riviera, famed for its sunny mild climate all year round. The focal point of the harbour is a life size replica of The Golden Hind, Sir Francis Drake’s ship. The prettiest part of Brixham has small cottages in hilly narrow winding lanes leading to the harbour where all the activity is centred. Home to Britain’s largest fishing fleet which regularly lands their catch in the harbour, Brixham fish market sells to major restaurants in the UK. Brixham is the ideal destination for a traditional holiday with many family attractions around Torbay including two Blue Flag beaches, Paignton Zoo and many regattas and maritime events throughout the year. There are a host of safe cycle trails in the area, the South West Coastal Path and some of the best golf courses in the region. Lovely property, a real home from home. Very cozy & warm. Kitchen well equipped. Beds very comfy and tvs in both rooms. Lounge area nice and comfortable. The parking area is a bit of a tight fit but manageable once you get used to it. Would definitely stay here again. Nice relaxing week away.

The welcome pack was much appreciated after a long drive, thankyou. It was close to the town centre and a great base for a week's holiday. The beds were very comfortable and the shower was amazing. The kitchen was well equipped and we ate at home several evenings. A couple of points worth noting: The traffic lights are two cars length from the front door and awaiting cars can be heard clearly as the front door opens directly into the pavement. The road can be noisy. The instructions state no parties and be considerate neighbours but the neighbour to our left was not so considerate and partied onto 4:00am on the first Monday, so much so we had to change rooms. The detail of the cottage includes woodburning stove and starter pack. This is not accurate. It is a gas fire. The cottage is centrally heated so we didn't need to use it, but it is misleading. That being said we had a great week and enjoyed our stay in Brixham.

Perfect location with a parking space (yes itâs a small space but my Kia sportage fit, but you may struggle with anything bigger) really liked the little extras included (2 Devon rock lagers in wine fridge, crisps, biscuits, little dog treats , and toiletries ) this cottage has been beautifully renovated and decorated , would book again , thanks
