A wonderful family home boasting magnificent views across Torbay and just a short stroll to Torquay town centre
Stay in a homely two-storey seaside cottage with harbour views in the cosmopolitan Devonshire town of Torquay. Soak up the sunshine with your group of friends or family with a bottle of bubbly on the terrace while admiring the views before wandering into the vibrant centre of the town where you’ll find cocktail bars, seafood restaurants and plenty of opportunities for some retail therapy. Benefit from having a harbour, beach and numerous attractions on your doorstep.
Enter the property through the hallway with a WC, which leads to the open-plan kitchen/diner. This space is bright and airy with a good-sized kitchen to one side of the room and a dining table, sofa, and doors to the terrace with seating on the other. Upstairs is the living area, where you’ll find comfortable sofas, a gas fire, a TV and doors out to a balcony. There is also an en-suite bathroom and three bedrooms – a double with an en-suite, a twin with an en-suite and a bunk bedroom.
This property is located next to the harbour (less than 0.5 miles), where you can choose from a fabulous array of restaurants and pubs. Spend your time away exploring the attractions on your doorstep, including a theatre, bowling alley and dinosaur exhibition (within 0.5 miles). If you’re an adventure seeker, jump on a boat or jet ski from the harbour. For the history geeks, Torre Abbey (1.5 miles) is 800 years old, with 7 acres of gardens to explore. Even if you visited a new nearby beach every day for a week, you still won’t get to check them all out. The best ones around are Torquay Beach (1 mile) because of how close it is, Meadfoot (1 mile) for its surf, and Maidencombe (4.5 miles) if you want somewhere secluded.

Very nice apartment across three floors, enough rooms/bathrooms for all of us no issues there.Nice location overlooking the harbour and no noise, short walk to a few pubs (5 mins max) and 7 mins to the harbour. All beds were comfortable and clean, bathroms also clean and tidy. Able to cook/warm up our dinners in the kitchen/dining room which was nice and tidy, also had the nice harbour view. Quite enjoyed the stay at this place.

A lovely property in a fabulous location! Just a short walk to the harbour and all that it offers. Plus you know your car is safe behind electric gates (particularly when it’s difficult to park in Torquay on busy, sunny days). The house is a home from home and has everything you could possibly need for a great holiday. The cleaning team do an amazing job getting the house ready for each occupant and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Riviera if you’re looking to relax in South Devon.

This property is acceptional, the best we have stayed in. Spotlessly clean and well equipped. The views were amazing and only a short walk to the seafront. Regular bus service to local resorts and near the coastal path which is well worth walking. Andy was very helpful when the television gave up on us . Would recommend.
