Electric central heating, electricity, bed linen and towels included. Welcome pack. Front garden with sitting-out area. Hot tub for 6 (private). On road parking. No smoking.. The Lookout Pod is located in a well regarded residential area of Torquay. Accessible via a gate from the adjoining road, guests after walking up the stone steps find themselves in the garden area. This elevated area boasts a 6 person hot tub, distant sea views and seating. There is also a cold water outdoor shower for hosing off any sandy pups or wetsuits, and a washing line, along with outside electric sockets if needed. The structure consists of a door leading into the bedroom and general living space, with double bed, kettle and toaster. (Please note these are the only cooking facilities). From another door accessed to the side of the pod there is an outside toilet. The pod, although small and with limited facilities, offers guests an up-market like camping experience yet in a much more desirable location if being close to Torquay town, beach and amenities is what you are looking for.
There is so much to see and do in the local area, including visiting the many beautiful beaches, greens and coastal paths. Around Torquay’s marina there is an abundance of quality restaurants, bars and pubs as well as amusements and a theatre. Torquay’s surrounding areas such as Brixham, Dartmouth and the city of Exeter, all make for great days out, as do many of the towns within the South Hams. Sit back and relax in the hot tub while enjoying a late night drink after a long day exploring all the English Riviera has to offer!

We had a great time at Look Out. The view from the accommodation was absolutely stunning, and the hot tub experience was fantastic. The owner was very helpful, providing clear instructions both for getting there and for using the hot tub. We also really appreciated the thoughtful touch of having ice cubes ready for us on arrival.However, I did find the shower facility a bit inconvenient. It was located outside in the open, which made me feel uncomfortable as a woman, and the water was ice cold.Aside from that, everything else was excellent.

Very good location, be prepared for the cold water shower it was no joke, we ended up going to the leisure centre for warm showers if the weather was warmer it wouldve been perfect!! Location and views was stunning.
