Nine Acres Barn in Marlborough is highly praised for its beautiful setting, cleanliness, and generous welcome packs. Guests appreciate its proximity to local attractions and the peaceful, well-equipped environment. The barn is described as cosy, comfortable, and ideal for both short and extended stays.
The property consistently receives high marks for cleanliness, with multiple reviews noting it as 'beautifully clean', 'immaculate', and 'tidy'. This suggests a very high standard of cleanliness maintained by the owners.
The location is frequently commended for being peaceful and quiet, yet within walking distance to Marlborough and close to attractions like Avebury and Stonehenge. The natural setting and convenience to transport links contribute to a high score.
Comfort is highlighted with mentions of a cosy wood burner, toasty warmth, and a relaxing atmosphere. However, there is a minor issue with a soft mattress and insufficient hot water for baths, slightly lowering the score.
Facilities are generally well-regarded, with a well-equipped kitchen and thoughtful provisions. However, there are some concerns about the size of the fridge and the adequacy of hot water, which suggests room for improvement in maintenance.
The owners are praised for their thoughtfulness, particularly regarding the welcome packs. However, it should be noted that such gifts, while appreciated, may vary and are not guaranteed for every stay.
