Guests say

Vale Lodge in Pewsey is highly praised for its cleanliness, modern amenities, and beautiful views, particularly from the roof terrace. Guests appreciate the comfortable furnishings, thoughtful touches like a welcome pack, and the property's peaceful location. While some find the second bedroom snug and the microwave awkwardly placed, the overall experience is of a well-equipped, cosy cottage ideal for exploring Wiltshire's countryside and attractions.

Guests consistently note the property's exceptional cleanliness, describing it as spotless and well-maintained. The high standard of cleanliness contributes significantly to the overall positive experience.

The location is appreciated for its quietness, scenic views, and proximity to local attractions. However, some guests mention the lack of pavements for walking into the village, which affects the score slightly.

The majority of guests find the property comfortable, with modern conveniences and cosy living spaces. A few guests mention the second bedroom being a bit cramped, which slightly impacts the comfort score.

Facilities are generally well-regarded, especially the roof terrace and garden. Some guests find the microwave placement and mezzanine access challenging, indicating room for improvement in maintenance and design.

Guests often mention the generous welcome pack and the provision of detailed information and walking maps, reflecting the hosts' thoughtfulness. While gifts are appreciated, they are a personal touch and may vary.

    We had a great stay!

If walking's your thing loads of local walks from the door, we enjoyed that very much, also good bus links.

The garden and balcony were lovely, it is just a shame the weather was terrible, but it didn’t spoil our enjoyment! Thank you a wonderful stay and the treats were a nice touch. The only negative was the smaller of the 2 bedrooms would be better with a single bed as it was really cramped and difficult to move around
