A little further afield and a little less peaceful Thruxton race circuit offers you an adrenaline fix from karting to supercars. Shop and restaurant 3½ miles, pub 350 yards.

A very comfortable contemporary cottage set in lovely countryside, but close to Salisbury with its fabulous cathedral and excellent shops and restaurants. Also easy to drive to the many other places well worth seeing in Wiltshire and surrounding counties. The owner, Peter was very welcoming and helpful.
