This was my third visit to the cottage and again it was wonderful. Thank you for a lovely stay.

If you want a relaxing, peaceful location, the fishing lodge is perfect. The lodge itself is very comfortable and we instantly felt at home. The view of the river from the lodge is beautiful and there are lovely walks in the area. The owner, Guy, was helpful and approachable when we had a couple of questions. We found the water filter on the kitchen tap was a great addition as it’s a hard water area. We used the filtered water for the kettle too as it had a lot of limescale in. We’d definitely stay at this property again. We visited Old Sarum, Woodhenge, Stonehenge, Salisbury, Marlborough, Savernake forest, the Westbury white horse, to name a few places.

Beautiful location, perfect getaway. Extremely clean with everything you could need. Super comfy beds and lovely bedding. Thank you for a lovely stay. The only niggle was that the sofas are a little uncomfortable.
