The Old Post Office in the pretty village of Higham provides a wonderful base to explore the beautiful countryside of Dedham Vale, closely associated with the works of John Constable. The cottage features in his painting, The Stour Valley from Higham. This beautiful timber framed building has lots of space to relax in, with a cosy wood burning stove in the sitting room.

Dating from the 1600s, this property has a wealth of features including exposed beams and fire places and provides a perfect property for a family get-together, allowing you to have a relaxing and peaceful time exploring the local area. The charm of the original features, such as the oak floor upstairs, is balanced with the modern amenities.
