The owners are brimming with ideas and local contacts to help you organise your perfect stay. Grab one of the 22 adult road bikes and discover the charming quiet lanes around Lavenham and its picturesque villages. Enjoy garden games like badminton, table tennis, croquet, and boules, or enjoy the tennis facilities on the farm. Accommodation Comprises:

The Old Brooder has all modern comforts and conveniences combined with unique features like joiner-made oak bunkbeds, a dining table made from local elm, and centuries-old stained glass.

Downstairs:

Spanish floor tiles, long tables with bench and pew seating for 22, and high-quality modern appliances make light work of catering for a full house. Order your supermarket delivery and the owners will unpack it for you, arrange for delicious pre-cooked meals to await you, or book the services of a local chef. The flexible cooking and dining space make this kitchen ideal for groups whether your budget ranges from fish fingers to feasting!

Three of the four bedrooms are downstairs. The biggest is a long bunkroom that sleeps 8 guests. Every guest has their own light and charging socket next to the bed.

Two smaller bedrooms, each have one set of bunks to sleep two guests - a great option for guests who prefer more privacy.

Two shower rooms, two WCs with basin, one wet-room with shower, WC and basin for guests who use a wheelchair or mobility aid.

Upstairs:

The cosy upstairs sitting room seats up to 22 guests for socialising.

A sunny bedroom sleeps 8 in conventional beds, each with their own light and charging socket.

Shepherd's Hut: Staying in the (heated) Victorian Shepherd's Hut is a real treat. It has two single beds (one 6'4" long and one 5'4" long), and is just outside the back door.

Outside: The garden has a barbecue (BYO charcoal), picnic benches, lawn, garden games including croquet, table tennis and table football. There's a gorgeous view over the fields, and a herb garden you are welcome to use for cooking and cocktails.

Additional Information: Utilities, WiFi and bed linen are included when you stay at The Old Brooder. Guests can explore the farm via waymarked nature trails, or borrow the road bikes to explore the surrounding villages on quiet country lanes. The modern kitchen is well kitted out for cooking a feast. No smoking or pets.
