Lovely place and lovely lodge. Could do with a bit of a touch up as noticed in the en suite some of what the wall is decorated with was peeling away. Only advice I would give is to have a handle or oven gloves to take the grill pan out of the oven. I burnt my fingers every time I took it out of the oven and placed on the hob because the T towel was so thin that even when I folded it 3 times to make thicker it still burnt them. So my advice is take oven gloves with you if you plan to use the grill. All utensils and cookware were very clean, however I did not use the fry pan as it really needs changing because it was, in my opinion, not fit for purpose. I really should have left it out so the cleaner can see it and possibly change it as I’m sure they would if they knew. This is my second time I’ve stayed here. First was in the Holly, which was beautiful. Maybe I’m comparing too much. I would go back but not choose the Oak. It is lovely but just a few things missing In my opinion.

Absolutely LOVED our time here. Looked exactly like advertised and the surrounding area was a gorgeous surprise. We saw many woodland and farmland animals whilst on our walks. A great experience during November, I would book this time of year again.Only thing I would have liked is if the master had the shower room and other room had the bath but that is my only meagre comment.

Great holiday in a lovely tranquil location. Accommodation very comfortable and well equipped. Will definitely return.
