Blackwell Barn is located in the pretty Suffolk village of Raydon, with a local village community and on the edge of Dedham Vale an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Perfect for walkers, with ancient woodland and walk along former railways, all easily accessible from Blackwell Barn. Located just 2 miles from Hadleigh and conveniently close to the A12, Raydon is famous for its WW2 military airfield and historic link to the American air base with several original buildings still in use as workshops. If you can drag yourself away from Blackwell Barn, you’ll find a convenience store, pub and restaurant at East Berghot, fine dining under a mile away at Layham and plenty of places to explore in the local area. Manningtree station is a short drive away on the main line connecting Norwich and Harwich with London Liverpool Street. Beach 21 miles. Shop 2 miles, pub 1 mile and restaurant 2 miles.

We had a wonderful stay at this property! Property is spotles and hosts are very friendly and communicate well! Great views from the Property and lovely places to visit locally! Would not hesitate to come back to stay again! We didn't to want leave!
