Inside on the ground floor, you will find a large open-plan living room with woodburner for those chilly evenings, opening onto a sun trap conservatory and south facing garden and patio area. The kitchen is well equipped with a large oak table as the centrepiece for dining. In addition, there is a quiet snug room, ideal for children, and a convenient shower room and toilet. Upstairs the bedrooms are light, airy and offering spacious comfort. There is a large family bathroom and also a further en-suite off the master bedroom. Granary Cottage is only 10 minutes from Ipswich, and conveniently located giving you easy access to the Heritage Coast, Woodbridge and the undulating country walks Suffolk has to offer. We had a wonderful week long stay here with friends - the men wanted to make the most of the fishing lake on site and they were not disappointed.. it is a beautiful cottage in a beautiful location- dog friendly - comfortable and homely.This was our third stay here since 2018, with different family and friendship groups, and we’d like to return again. Our hosts were nearby, and very helpful and friendly… we felt very welcome.The nearby pub has a great steak night on thursdays -the bull- the restaurant was a big hit with us - excellent food. Plenty of lovely places to visit by car nearby. We had a couple of bbq evenings, A great place to stay!

Highlights of our stay were the beautiful country views from the cottage, and the extensive grounds with a pretty lake that we could walk around. The cottage itself was spacious and pleasant.
