Guests say

Wassicks Cottage in Haughley receives high praise for its beautiful setting, comfort, and welcoming hosts. Guests appreciate the peaceful location, charming character, and eco-friendly approach. The property is well-equipped, with a special mention of a generous welcome pack. It's an ideal base for exploring Suffolk and enjoying wildlife, with some minor maintenance points noted.

Reviews consistently describe the cottage as well-maintained, with only a single mention of dust which is understandable given its rural, barn conversion nature. Overall, the property is perceived as clean and cosy.

The location is highly praised for its idyllic, peaceful setting with lovely walks and wildlife. It's also noted as a good base for exploring Suffolk's attractions, contributing to a very positive perception.

Guests find the cottage very comfortable, mentioning cosy fires, comfy beds, and a warm welcome. The property's charm and the quality of sleep are highlighted, indicating a high level of comfort.

The cottage is described as well-equipped and thoughtfully appointed. However, a couple of reviews mention a faulty front door lock and lack of lighting on the stairs, which suggests some room for improvement in maintenance.

The hosts are repeatedly commended for their thoughtfulness, including welcome packs and attention to guest needs. While gifts are warmly mentioned, it's noted that such personal touches, though delightful, are not guaranteed.

When we arrived it was beautifully warm and we were greeted with a hamper of goodies which we enjoyed during out stay. Anthony our host came to greet us and assure us that if there was anything we needed we just had to ask. We had everything we needed and more. When we return to Suffolk we would definitely book it again.

Furnished to a high standard with all that you need for a home from home stay. Lovely welcome hamper including their own eggs which were blue, green and brown shelled.

Being an old barn conversion with lots of old wooden beams, it was inhabited by a few inevitable spiders. But that comes with being set in a working farm, and beautiful natural gardens. The owners are very friendly and on hand, should you need any help. It was lovely to watch the wildlife and make friends with the resident horses It’s location is perfect to explore the many attractions that Suffolk has to offer.
