About this property

Occupying a superb setting near the centre of the bustling town of Aldeburgh in Suffolk, 33 The Terrace is the perfect destination for a family get-together or a gathering of family and friends. With sublime views towards the sea over the roof tops of Aldeburgh, this townhouse offers simply outstanding holiday accommodation. There is so much space here that there is always somewhere to get away from it all. The open-plan kitchen/diner is stunning with a stylish fully fitted kitchen forming the heart of the home together with an extensive dining area with feature French doors opening onto the outside helping to bring the outdoors in. Choose from a relaxing snug or the sociable first-floor sitting room. Both have ample seating and offer a welcoming space to either get together and socialise or to get away from each other and chill out. The enclosed courtyard provides a much-needed outside space to enjoy the Suffolk sunshine and indulge in some drinking and dining alfresco. When bedtime calls, there is a bedroom to suit everyone, with two king-sizes, a super-king-size and two twins; all are beautifully presented and especially inviting. There is nowhere nicer to lay your weary head at night or to wake up in the morning feeling refreshed and raring to go. The delights of Aldeburgh are literally on the doorstep with plenty to explore here including a great selection of shops and amenities, a beach and it even has its own music festival held at the famous Maltings Concert Hall. Other towns worth visiting close by include Thorpeness, Southwold and Saxmundham with a range of attractions to choose from including Easton Farm Park, Africa Alive Zoological Reserve and Yoxford Antiques Centre and Gardens. If you are interested in finding out about history, then pay a visit to any number of stately homes in the area including Glemham Hall, Somerleyton Hall, Framlingham Castle and Thornham Estate. For a tour and a tipple, check out Adnams Brewery, Shawsgate Vineyard and the English Whiskey Company, or if you fancy a day at the beach then pack your bucket and spade and head to Walberswick, Dunwich, Thorpeness and Southwold. 33 The Terrace promises to deliver a family holiday to remember for a lifetime.

The popular, vibrant seaside town of Aldeburgh is famous for its culture, traditional feel and one of the best fish and chip shops in the country! Aldeburgh and Snape Maltings are home to one of the world’s greatest music festivals and has been named as one of the top 50 places to live in Britain. Crag Path runs along the seafront dividing the beautiful pebbly beach from the unspoilt pastel-coloured seafront properties and the town. The beach is a popular place for groups and couples to enjoy the wonderful fish and chips throughout the summer months. The town is steeped in history and has become a wonderful town for shopping with a good mixture of independent and chain stores to enjoy. The town also offers a good selection of pubs and restaurants or why not buy some freshly caught fish from the huts on the seafront and cook up your own feast at home. For those wishing for a more action-packed holiday there is excellent walking, cycling, sailing and golf at Aldeburgh. Growing in popularity you will want to return to Aldeburgh again and again!
