Aldeburgh is located within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, opening up plenty of scenic walking opportunities through the wildlife-rich marshland and estuary. For a pleasing ramble, set off along the shingle beach, then climb up onto the cliffs towards Thorpeness (2.5 miles). You can also enjoy riverside walks around the River Alde (5.5 miles) and explore ancient woodland at Captain’s Wood (10 miles).
