This bright, spacious property benefits from high ceilings and elegant furnishings throughout along with a stunning garden for everyone to enjoy. The open kitchen/dining room offers a fabulous space for everyone to enjoy wining, dining, entertaining and catching up. Large french doors lead directly to the patio and garden providing further space to commune, especially lovely when the weather is pleasant. The sitting room can accommodate everyone to enjoy a movie, or play board games supplied. There’s a large dining room with further sofa and armchairs to relax in. A ground floor super-king bedroom has the option to be made up as a twin room. Upstairs, to the first floor is a super-king bedroom (twin option if preferred), a family bathroom, and a king bedroom with en-suite shower room. The second floor provides three further bedrooms; a twin, a double with a single bed, and another super-king (option for twin), plus a family bathroom. This house is great for families with plenty of twin or king options.
The fully enclosed garden at the rear of the property has plenty of seating so that you can enjoy the outdoor space to the full. The whole house provides a stunning, peaceful place away from the hustle and bustle of the town, yet it’s only a short walk from fantastic restaurants, pubs and cafes. Belstead House can be booked with neighbouring property Court House, therefore accommodating up to 21 guests. The properties benefit an adjoining garden gate.

The house was nicely furnished and very comfortable. However central heating is controlled remotely resulting in us having a very cold afternoon/evening. We had to call the emergency out of hours number to get this sorted out. The heating still seemed to be timed, since by 9.30 p.m. the radiators were cold. The integrated dishwasher had a very small knob to open it, which had obviously come off many times before we used it. It certainly was not man enough for the weight of the door. It would have been helpful to have the instruction manual for the range cooker. And the 3 drawer freezer was full of ice blocks, frozen dough balls and frozen peas when we arrived. The downstairs bedroom was very cold, with no central heating radiator and no clothes hanging space or drawers for clothes. It would be helpful to supply non-slip rubber bath mats as one of our group slipped in the bath on the second floor. This bathroom also had an opaque window from which there was a view of the house opposite. Most of the opaque covering had been scratched off.
