The most impressive bedroom has to be the second-floor king-size, with roof beams punctuating fresh white walls, hues of green which flow throughout the house and create a homely feel and an en-suite. When it comes to alfresco dining, the outside turf area with furniture has you covered, and you will be delighted to discover that this property has an indoor heated swimming pool and fitness suite for all guests to enjoy. The local area of Blythburgh offers a great number of activities within easy access of the village, beginning with beach and forest walks at the Denes Beach, Southwold, where you can enjoy a stroll in the salty air and maybe even take a daring dip in the waves, and Dunwich Forest where you will be surrounded by wildlife. An afternoon can be spent enjoying Thorington Theatre or Southwold Maize Maze before ending the day in a local pub or restaurant, and for golf lovers there is the option of Halesworth Golf course. Saxmundham is a small market town located on the River Fromus, in the heart of Suffolk’s Heritage Coast. The town is well serviced with independent shops, local museum, supermarkets and a train station, as well as art galleries, a weekly market and a farmers’ market. Situated so close to the coast, Saxmundham is a great base for a seaside holiday; within easy reach of Aldeburgh and Thorpeness, as well as Dunwich, Southwold and Walberswick, you could enjoy a different coastal location each day. Also close by is the inland market town Framlingham with beautiful historic architecture, a castle and an array of independent shops. South of the town there is the well known tourist destination of Sutton Hoo, an ancient Royal Anglo-Saxon burial site. With Ipswich an easy drive south, and Norwich an easy drive north, there’s so much to see and do in and around Saxmundham.
