Saxon Lodge Cottage in Felixstowe is highly praised for its cleanliness, modern amenities, and convenient location. Guests appreciate the comfortable furnishings and the warm hospitality provided by hosts Jill and Nigel. The property is noted for its proximity to local attractions and the thoughtful touches, such as welcome packs, that enhance the stay.
The cottage receives high marks for cleanliness, with multiple reviews mentioning its spotless condition. One minor comment about mugs with residual grime slightly impacts the score.
The location is consistently described as convenient and perfect, with easy access to the beach, shops, and restaurants, contributing to a high score.
Comfort is frequently highlighted, with guests finding the beds comfortable and the cottage cosy. A single mention of a weak shower pressure and a less comfortable chair slightly reduces the score.
Facilities are generally well-regarded, with the property being well-equipped. However, a few guests noted the absence of a dishwasher and minor issues like missing bin bags, which affects the score.
Guests frequently mention the thoughtful welcome pack and additional amenities. While these are greatly appreciated, it is politely noted that such gifts, while common, are not guaranteed for every stay.

Simon
The accommodation was just perfect in fact we enquired when we could move in. We met Jill on a couple of occasions and she was super helpful. The hosts were very generous with their welcome pack and the accommodation extremely comfortable. We visit Felixstowe often and this will be our go to place. Simon and Donna.

There are good restaurants near by and a short bus ride into the center of the town.

Very comfy beds. Found the kitchen extremely dark and needed lights on at all times of the day. Welcoming hosts.
