Friston is also great for the attractive popular coastal towns of Aldeburgh and Southwold, with an excellent choice of pubs, restaurants, independent shops, galleries and tea rooms. Two miles from Friston is the well-known Snape Maltings Concert Hall, offering world class concerts and musical events throughout the year, and home of the annual Aldeburgh Festival held in June. The Maltings also has interesting shops and galleries as well as an rspb nature reserve with lovely riverside walks and river boat trips along the estuary. Family fun can be found at nearby Leiston Long Shop Museum with 200 years of local history, or with the animals at Easton Park Farm or Africa Alive, while history is on display at Framlingham and Orford castles or the Anglo-Saxon site of Sutton Hoo.

Car space was only exitable in one direction but not really a problem. Location very convenient for multiple attractions. Back garden fully enclosed and the dog loved it, so did we. Many local footpaths for dog walks. A happy holiday.

Perfectly situated for the many local walks and access further afield by car to local towns and villages. We always hope for a dog secure garden and this certainly was. In addition it was a lovely garden to relax in, well cared for with proper garden furniture. It felt like being at home, thanks for a lovely holiday.

The cottage had everything you could want and much more. Pretty enclosed garden, safe for us and our dogs. Stairs very steep but manageable. Lovely break away for 2 adults and 2 cocker spaniels :)
