eiston is located in the heart of the Suffolk Heritage Coast, with excellent connections to the popular seaside towns of Southwold and Aldeburgh. In the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries, the town thrived by producing steam tractors and cast and machined metal products. Many of the workers from the nearby power plant, Sizewell, now live in the town, which is well served by an active leisure centre and the oldest purpose-built cinema in Suffolk, which now offers the latest digital 3D projection systems!

Enclosed garden very good for the dog and for sitting in the sun in the quiet. Didn’t use the laundry but very good idea and washing line for when you’ve been for a swim. Hosts very friendly and helpful , Plenty of parking for when visitors come.

I very much enjoyed the quiet of the countryside but still so near to the beautiful Suffolk coast. The Lodge is small so I think a family of 4 would struggle. There isn't much room to store clothes. But ideal for 1 or 2. The kitchen is well equipped and I appreciated the milk and biscuits, tea and coffee. The weather was amazing and I was able to use the veranda a lot of the time I was there. I loved watching the buzzards. Thank you Marina for a good few days.
