Guests say

Honey Cottage is a charming and traditional property with a beautiful garden, offering a peaceful location ideal for exploring Suffolk. Guests appreciate the cosy atmosphere, local pub, and scenic walks nearby. However, some guests mention issues with the shower and steep stairs.

The cottage generally appears comfortable and clean, but some guests have noted cobwebs, unwashed oven trays, and dead spiders, suggesting room for improvement in cleanliness.

The location is praised for its quietness, scenic walks, and proximity to beaches and amenities, making it a desirable spot for a peaceful retreat.

The cottage is described as cosy and comfortable with a lovely garden. However, the steep and narrow stairs may pose a challenge for some guests, affecting the overall comfort level.

While the kitchen is well-equipped and the garden is delightful, several guests have reported issues with the shower and suggested upgrades to the ovenware and pots/pans.

There are no specific mentions of gifts or special touches provided by the hosts, so it is not possible to assess the level of thoughtfulness in terms of welcoming gestures.

Honey Cottage is close to amenities and matches the photos. However the shower was as tricky as the owner and reviewers have said and the stairs are dangerous. I only discovered the stairs warning after booking.

Lovely little cottage quite quirky with its spiral staircase wouldn’t (recommend it for small children) Bedding clean and freshHad trouble with hot water in the shower even tho I read the instructions.Found the trays in the oven still unwashed The kitchen had everything you could want or need, but bring your own dishwasher tablets laundry detergents and tea coffee sugar milkApart from my little gripes the enclosed garden was perfect for my dog. The local area is quiet and scenic for walking I went to two beaches Sizewell and Thorpeness both nice and dogs allowed about 10 minute drive supermarket equal distance.Enjoyed my stay and would stay again if the shower was working properly.
