Guests say

South Grange House in Sibton, Suffolk, is consistently praised for its excellent condition, spaciousness, and beautiful setting. Guests have enjoyed the well-equipped facilities, including a pool table and hot tub, and have found the property to be a perfect venue for family gatherings and celebrations. The house's cleanliness and comfort are frequently highlighted, alongside the peaceful and stunning location.

Guests have repeatedly noted the property's spotless condition and the cleanliness of both the house and cottage. The beds and bedding are also mentioned as very comfortable, contributing to the overall perception of a well-maintained and clean environment.

The property's location is described as lovely and peaceful, with amazing views and a rural setting. It is also conveniently located not too far from Southwold, adding to its appeal. The serene and beautiful surroundings contribute to the positive experiences of the guests.

The comfort of the property is highlighted by guests, with special mentions of the most comfy beds and the spaciousness that accommodates large groups well. However, a minor note was made about the beds being hard for one guest's preference, which slightly impacts the overall comfort score.

The facilities, including a pool table, hot tub, and well-equipped kitchen, are appreciated by guests. However, there are comments about missing items like a vegetable peeler and kitchen scissors, and suggestions for improvement in the bathroom arrangements. The presence of a fantastic BBQ and ample parking also adds to the positive feedback.

While guests have mentioned the provision of eggs, bread, wine, and milk, which reflects thoughtfulness, there is not enough consistent information across reviews to guarantee such gifts for every stay. Therefore, while these touches are appreciated, they cannot be expected by all future guests.

Fantastic BBQ which wasn’t mentioned. Age of property is well described and takes a bit of getting used to for the bedrooms. But a lovely place

It is comfortable and spacious. The owners have put effort into attention to detail and it had everything we could need. Highly recommended.

There were 12 of us - 8 adults and 4 children and the house was brilliant for our need! The bathroom/bedroom arrangements are a little awkward with 6 adults sharing 1 bathroom but we made it work! It would be good if there was a lock on both doors of the Jack and Jill bathroom as it was nerve racking with the kids running round!! It would also be great if the top floor had 1 twin room and 1 double to really benefit from the en suite then the 2nd twin downstairs. BUT like I say it was a wonderful break and it worked just fine. The pool table was a massive hit as was the garden, hot tub and sauna. The vast kitchen was lovely to eat in and the setting was stunning. The eggs, bread, wine and milk were a really lovely touch. Only a couple of negatives if I may - the double bedroom opposite the Jack and Jill bathroom kept getting dead bees in it from somewhere - couldn’t figure out where so we scooped and removed! The kitchen would benefit from more baking trays, sharp knives and tongs! And as I said above a lock on both doors in the Jack and Jill bathroom. We are already looking at booking for a week next year as 2 days was not enough to enjoy all it had to offer! Also we ate at The Poachers Pocket about 10 mins drive away and it was absolutely delicious and reasonably priced. Thank you :-)
