A lovely cottage in a great location for exploring the area. The pub across the road was a bonus. The rooms were light and spacious. Having a second sitting room was handy for any one who wanted a bit of quiet time . Plenty of parking. There is WiFi at the house but in line with a lot of the area there is no phone signal. Not a problem for us but might be important for some guests.

Really great location for Minsmere with beautiful walks outside the door rich in wildlife. Also opposite a pub for good food. House is generally comfortable, (lovely sofas) but a few maintenance issues which could be easily resolved. Quick to get someone out though when it was clear by day 2 we wouldn't get any hot water Be aware you are unlikely to have a mobile phone signal with most providers in the area (though the property does have good wifi) and there is no terrestial TV - just streaming services on the television - not that you'll want to watch much television with some much amazing wildlife in your doorstep

The cottage itself overall was pretty good. Acres of room for six of us. The location was a bit away from the beaten track however and apart from the Eels Foot pub there was literally nothing nearby. A car was a must. There were some issues with the cottage facilities that have been fed back to the owners separately and whilst it did not affect our overall enjoyment, it did take the edge off it. There are ample items of equipment to be able to do things and store things however but the lack of hot water was a problem. The washing facilities, ie the showers worked fine. Overall a fine cottage but not sure whether, as older people, we would return
