This gem of a cottage has a private enclosed pretty garden with plentiful mature plants and flowers, and boasts its very own hot tub to enjoy. It is a wonderful cottage oozing charm and character. Nothing has been forgotten; guests will delight in the excellent standard of furnishing and comfort throughout. The living room has a fireplace featuring a wood burner, perfect to snuggle up in front of on cooler evenings. The cottage has a desired location in the pretty hamlet of Barsham, just a 5 minutes’ drive to the historical and pretty market town of Beccles. It stands on the Norfolk/Suffolk border making it an ideal location for exploring all the delights within both counties. Beccles boasts independent boutiques and chain shops, excellent collection of eateries, including fine dining to many cafés serving homemade cakes and savouries to delight many palates. The weekly market is excellent for all things local should you wish to kick back and enjoy a night of cooking and dining in. The Broads National Park is a big draw for people visiting this area, best enjoyed on the waterways with kayaks, canoes and day boat motor launches for a more leisurely pace of life. Guided boat tours available for those wishing to just sit back and soak up the incredible national park.
Also home to the lido is an open air heated outdoor swimming pool, popular with many local swimmers and located alongside the River Waveney. Wonderful sandy beach at Covehithe, 12 miles. Slightly further afield are the unspoilt delights of the Suffolk Heritage Coast, including Aldeburgh, Dunwich, Walberswick, Southwold and the ancient burial ground at Sutton Hoo (National Trust). Lowestoft is the most easterly point in the UK, and city of Norwich, a bustling cathedral city with culture, heritage and entertainment for all. Golf course 3 miles. Beach 12 miles. Shops, pubs and restaurants 2 miles.

Words cannot describe how beautiful this cottage is. Above and beyond expectations. Fixtures and fittings finish the home off to a little dream you dont want to wake from. Were not actually sharing where this place with friends so we can keep it to ourselves for the next rip and many more. Thankyou so much to hosts Nina and Mike. Very nice cottage in a peaceful location. Very clean and amazing welcome pack. Only minor comments are the tiny staircase could be a problem for some people. The cottage definitely needs a walk in shower but then again we are not bath people.
