Only 1 mile from an award-winning pub, this property is a haven in which to relax and unwind in. The quiet country lanes are ideal for walking and cycling, and property is ideally placed to explore the many delights of Norfolk and Suffolk. The market town of Beccles, with its river, pubs, restaurants, delightful shops and station, is just 3 miles. Lowestoft with its sandy beach and promenade, Oulton Broad with its Thursday night speed boat racing, Southwold, famous for its beer and summer theatre, Sutton Hoo (National Trust), Africa Alive and Fritton Countryworld are all within a short drive. The medieval city of Norwich, with its castle, cathedral and fine shopping, is 21 miles. Perfect for bird watching, the rspb Mimsmere is approximately 20 miles away. Beach 5 miles. The cottage was clean. The owners were welcoming and checked that we were happy with the accommodation. A quiet area. This was our 3rd visit.
